HIPA Recognized as Best IPA in Europe at AIM Investment Awards Dubai

The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) has again recorded a landmark achievement. Hungary’s investment environment and HIPA’s efforts have been recognized for the fourth time at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) event in Abu Dhabi, now as the best investment promotion agency in Europe.
The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) is one of the most significant FDI-related events in the world. Being an initiative of the AIM Global Foundation, AIM Congress is a leading investment platform in the Middle East that gathers corporate leaders, policymakers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics, and experts showcasing up-to-date information, strategies, and knowledge on attracting investments.
AIM took place in April, this year for the 14th time, and among the highlights of the event was the AIM Awards ceremony, where HIPA leveled up, and after three years of being the best in the Central, Eastern Europe, and Turkey regions, we now took the award for the best investment promotion agency in Europe.
The award recognizes Hungary’s leading role in the green transition and its ability to attract high-tech, future-oriented investment projects in this field. These projects bring cutting-edge technologies to the country and contribute to the structural transformation of the industry, strengthen the local supplier network, and increase the added value throughout the entire value chain.
The FDI inflow to Hungary reached an all-time high above EUR 10 billion for the second consecutive year, contributing to this excellent result. After all, BYD also contributed to our recognition through their investment in Szeged, where the Chinese automotive giant is building its first-ever European car manufacturing plant.
