Following an 8-year presence in Hungary, Belgian-owned Delaware Consulting Hungary Kft. has decided to expand locally by setting up a second office in Debrecen. The IT system integrator invests EUR 6.7 million and plans to hire 70 new colleagues.
Established twenty years ago in Belgium, Delaware is now a truly global system integrator that provides consultancy services and delivers advanced IT solutions in 19 countries. The company set up shop in Hungary in 2015 when the Budapest office was opened that focuses on logistics, public utilities and manufacturing.
Delaware now has announced to expand its local operation by establishing its second office in Debrecen. Thanks to the EUR 6.7 million investment 70 new jobs can be created. The company aims to modernize the processes of its customers and provide continuous support, ensuring them to acquire and maintain a leading market position.
Part of the reason why they picked Debrecen in particular was that Delaware could identify shared values with the municipality. On the other hand, they strive to find and recruit the best talent the region has to offer, thus contributing to creating new international opportunities.
