Siemens Energy reached three milestones at the same time

Siemen's has been present in the energy industry for over 150 years now; however, Siemens Energy was established in Munich in 2020. The Budapest plant, which provides a secure livelihood for more than 2,000 people, expanded its portfolio with the production of gas turbine combustors in the multifunctional centre inaugurated today.

The Budapest plant, which provides a secure livelihood for more than 2,000 people, expanded its portfolio with the production of gas turbine combustors in the multifunctional centre inaugurated today.
The three-part investment programme is worth over EUR 60 million will open a new era for the Hungarian subsidiary and boost its position within Siemens. The Siemens Energy Training Centre and the company's dual training programme are a good example of fruitful cooperation between industry players and universities. The project has created 25 new jobs at the Budapest site, and 430 employees have taken part in training to develop technical and digital competences for turbine burner head production.
The list of investments planned until 2025 is far from over, and Siemens Energy is further strengthening its presence in Hungary in power plant construction and manufacturing.
